Updates on the Metro Main Event
We have less than 2 weeks to go before the biggest poker event kicks off this Jan.26! So far, Pokerstars has given away 3 seats in their weekly freerolls (check out the previous post for more info), and satellites have also been running at least twice a week at The Metro. It will be a momentous event for the local poker scene for sure!

Good news for all the local Poker players! Pokerstars has officially launched the Online satellites for The METRO MAIN EVENT! 11 seats will be given away for FREE from Jan.14-24 on Pokerstars.net, plus FIVE more guaranteed seats on a last chance $1 rebuy tournament on Jan.25 on POKERSTARS.COM! That’s 16 seats up for grabs people! What’s more, the MAIN EVENT will be the first stop of a much much bigger series of tournaments called The Filipino Poker Tour. If you haven’t noticed, The Metro Website has not been updated regularly for the last couple of weeks, mostly due to the busy holiday season.
