Starting Stack: 10,000
Maximum Entries: 600
Levels: 60Mins
Places Paid: 50 minimum (or 10% of the field)
Alternates can register till the End of Lv2
Table Balancing only with a difference 3 until the end of 8th level
Seating Redraws will be conducted on Day 2, 4-Tables and Final Table.

Play will start 10 handed and will move to 9 handed as soon as possible.
Day 1a and 1b will play 11 levels and starts at 1pm
Day 2 Will play down to the Final Table and starts at 1pm.
Day 3 Final Table Starts at 6pm.

Jeffrey Lisandro Named 2009 WSOP Player of the Year

Jeffrey Lisandro had only one competitor left for 2009 World Series of Poker Player of the Year honors. After his sole challenger Ville Wahlbeck was sent to the rail during Day 3 of the WSOP Main Event, Lisandro locked up the Player of the Year honors after his three preliminary-event wins and deep runs in other events.

Anyone who has played a lot of tournament poker must have been asked this question, one time or another: “Do you want to chop?” This isn’t at all surprising—this offer to split the money before the tournament is over. After all, some tournaments are worth a lot of money and a chop can make a huge difference in the prizes for each finisher. You might end up a winner in the negotiations if you end up with more money than you rightfully deserve, or a big loser if you agree on, let’s say, an even chop between three players and end up being the victor.
