It was a battle of poker heavyweights at the final table of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Championship this weekend at the Bellagio as the six remaining players fought for the $1,530,537 first prize. In the end, it was Bodog pro David Williams who emerged victorious, claiming his first significant title since winning a $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em event at the Bellagio Cup III in 2007.

Barry Greenstein
Barry Greenstein is a professional poker player, born and raised in the Chicago suburb of Scottsdale, Illinois. He learned to play cards when he was a child, from his parents and he loved the game ever since. His father encouraged him to develop a calm and analytical game, and by the age of 12 he already planned his future at the green felt. Only a year later he started playing home games and cashing up to $50 a night. Despite his obvious talent, however, he did not start a professional career yet.

Huck Seed
Born on November 30, 1968 and standing 6 ft 7 inch tall, poker player Huck Seed is recognizable from his height alone. He was once a member of the Montana All-State basketball team and played basketball at CalTech before he dropped out of college to become a professional poker player. Huck Seed had been studying electrical engineering at CalTech, but discovered that poker was a much more lucrative profession. He now plays poker professionally at Full Tilt Poker.
