A New durrrr Challenge

April 19, 2011

With a slew of action online, live tournaments wrapping in Brazil and kicking off in Copenhagen and Los Angeles, it was a busy week in the PokerListings news room.

As a result, a few stories didn’t quite get the front page space they deserved.

Forced to take action, we’ve gathered them all below in our weekly Poker News in Brief feature.
This week, durrrr has a new challenge, the dream continues at Everest Poker, WPT Bratislava satellites begin and a whole lot more.

A New durrrr Challenge

It appears Tom “durrrr” Dwan is up for another challenge and this time you could be his opponent.
Full Tilt Poker is offering players the chance to Challenge durrrr for up to $1.5 million in prize money.

Starting this weekend through March 13, interested players must undertake a series of online poker challenges to prove their abilities in Ring Game, Tournament, Matrix and Heads-Up multi-tabling challenges.

The first step is earning a spot on the leaderboard by playing 500 consecutive qualifying hands on at least two No-Limit Hold ‘em or Pot-Limit Omaha ring game tables simultaneously or one Rush Poker table.

Top Leaderboard finishers must then play four concurrent Sit & Gos for a spot in a $25K Matrix Tournament.
The player who earns the top Matrix score will take on durrrr in four simultaneous heads-up Sit & Gos on Sunday, March 27th, with $1.5 million on the line.

Players must elect to participate in the promotion through the Full Tilt Poker software.
