FTOPS XVII: Back With a Bang

September 3, 2010

Full Tilt Poker’s FTOPS is back Wednesday with 34 events and a whopping $19 million in guaranteed cash.

The 17th edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series begins Aug. 3 with a wide variety of tournaments hosted by the site’s stable of pros, including Knockout, Shootout, Turbo and Super Turbo events.

Plus, a two-day event with a guaranteed prize pool of $2 million, the FTOPS XVII Main Event, now featuring a $3 million a guaranteed prize pool and six separate Rush Poker events.

Satellite tournaments are running now offering seats for a fraction of the price, including Step Tournaments.
As always, there’s more on the line than just millions in cash.

Everyone who makes the final table of any FTOPS XVII event will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket and winners will receive the coveted gold FTOPS jersey and gold jersey avatar.

Plus, the player at the top of the FTOPS XVII Leaderboard when all is said and done will win a custom Full Tilt Poker avatar and a special prize pack including entry to almost every FTOPS XVIII Event – worth almost $10k.

This time around, players who finish on the money bubble in any FTOPS XVII event will also have more than just a sad story to tell.

Full Tilt is running a “Bouncebackability” Freeroll Aug. 21 for every player who bubbles any FTOPS event.
FTOPS began in August 2006 with eight events and a combined guaranteed prize pool of more than $1 million.
