Huge $609k Week for Hansen
November 25, 2010
Last week Gus Hansen was online poker’s biggest loser, this week he’s the biggest winner with over $600k in profit.

Hansen, perhaps looking to finally get even this year, played 3,852 hands on Full Tilt Poker during the week in everything from H.O.R.S.E. to Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo.
For a change Hansen victimized players like Di “Urindanger” Dang, Brian Hastings and rumprammer. Hansen won over $200k from Dang in a mid-week session.
As of Friday Hansen had generated $609k from the online tables on Full Tilt.
It’s a marked difference from the previous week when Hansen went on a stunning $1.5 million downswing.
The Great Dane still finds himself down $3 million in 2010 and will need several more $600k weeks if he hopes to get even before the year ends.
Meanwhile Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies had an awful week losing $854k in sessions against Urindanger, ASHMAN103 and several other players.
Ziigmund has been on a serious downswing in October and at one point this week he lost for three consecutive nights.
After being up more than $2 million at certain points this year, Ziigmund is now down $488k in 2010. He’s lost over $1.6 million in October alone.
Some of the other big movers and shakers this week included Urindanger, who despite his losses against Hansen, pulled in $481k. Luukie21 added $298k to his bankroll while luckexpress10 raked $161k. Ashton “ASHMAN103” Griffin also made a notable return to the tables with a $214k victory.
No one came close to dropping as much as Ziigmund but DrugsOrMe (-$218k), Jani Vilmunen (-$189k), UarePileous (-$165k) and rumprammer (-$156k) were all big losers.
