Piece of Cake
April 20, 2011
Cake Poker is bringing back its Two for the Money promotion and Champions League tournaments this month as Irish Open 2011 satellites come to aclose and 2011 World Series of Poker satellites begin.
From March 1-28 Cake will present weekly challenges to its players to meet a multi-table hand target through their Two for the Money promotion. Those who meet the target will gain entry into that week’s kamikaze tournament – an all-in every hand event requiring no action by players at all.
Cake will also be hosting nightly Champions League Tournaments March 8, 9, 15 and 16 mirroring the football competition. Players who cash in two tournaments in the same week will receive an extra $50.
And although 2011 Irish Open satellites wrap up this month with the final one March 27, 2011 WSOP satellites start on the site March 1.
This year, Cake is hosting a series of MTTs with a weekly final awarding the winner a $13,000 WSOP prize package.
Plus, players can get in on daily Sit-n-Go step tournaments to advance to a final that awards the winner a $2,500 prize package to help them build up a “WSOP* fund” to cover the cost of accommodations, restaurants and whatever else their hearts desire while in Sin City.
Players can win as many of the packages as they want and use the cash however they wish.
Daily satellites for both start as small as $1.10.
WPT Bratislava Satellites
PartyPoker is hosting online qualifiers for WPT Bratislava this month.
The €2,500+€220 main event runs at the Golden Vegas Casino March 30- April 3 and PartyPoker is offering players the chance to win $6,000 packages including the buy-in, four night’s accommodation and hospitality.
There are daily freerolls feeding into a weekly $300+$20 satellite taking place every Sunday through March, with one $6,000 package up for grabs for every 20 players.
Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and sits just 45 minutes from Vienna, Austria.
