Day Two Of The Main Event Starts With 25 Players

When the dust had settled after day one, almost 100 hopefuls have bowed out of what is turning out to be probably the finest tournament our country has ever seen. Non-stop action and poker savvy was being displayed left and right. Big pots, huge bluffs, and sick calls were the theme of the day! Players were calling the tournament structure the best they have ever played, with the pace being just right and nobody playing well finding themselves short stacked because of the blinds.
Currently, Average stack is just around 100K, with the blinds at 2000-4000 with a 400 ante. Although a lot of players have busted out already, several notable players are still left in the tournament like WSOP finisher Neil Arce, the last celebrity player Aliyah Parcs, Local professional players Ronel Sto. Tomas and Amor Nario, Metro regular and consistent final table finisher Luis Carballo, and Lee Maranan, who won her seat with $3 in a Pokerstars Satellite tournament.
These hopefuls will be vying for a shot at a million pesos and the glory of being the champion of the Metro Main Event today!
