It was another swinging day at the Metro WALK TO A MILLION with the P1,000,000 guaranteed Main Event attracting 152 entries to Day 1B. Although this was slightly less than the previous starting flight, action was just as fierce with only 23 players surviving the fifteen rounds. Earning the spotlight was Jharome Pena who bested a field littered with champions. He closed Day 1B as the leader with 227,900 in chips.
Another player racking up very well was Frederick Cruz bagging up 222,800. Impressively, Pena and Cruz were the only two players that managed to cross into the 200K range in this heat. They still however trail the overall chip leader, John Clyde Tan, who amassed an enormous 318,900 stack in Day 1A.
Notable players also making it through were RVS Cup champion Richard Marquez with 93,900, APT champions Joven Huerto with 72,800 and Alexis Lim with 48,700, and Metro 2M 3rd placer Vamerdino Magsakay with 46,500. See Day 1B chip counts below:

|8||Maglalang Jr, Avelino Rene||116,500|
