The Metro Mid-year Specials wrap up 2nd Successful Week!

Another very successful week ended last Sunday, wrapped up with a bonus of TWO 100-player tournaments with a P300 buy-in and P30,000 guaranteed pot that day! We also included TWO seats to the Metro Hi-5 worth P22,000 total absolutely free!
The tournaments once again featured the best of the best of the local poker scene, as seen by the caliber of the winners. We were seeing the same players make multiple final tables during the week, and even the most of the champions had previous titles to their names. Our first champion of the week was Atty. Rainier Salazar, a previous champion of The Metro75. The next tournament, Metro75x3, was won by another Metro75 champ Philip Abadilla, a veteran of multiple final tables in our tournaments.
We then surprised our players by giving a Metro Independence Day Special, P350,000 guaranteed with a P2,000 buy-in freezeout! Aharon Arbeli, a regular metro player, won that tournament. Friday’s tournament, Metro75 Original, was then won by Titus Abola. Metro Saturday Special turned out another nice pot of P390,000, and the final table saw several veterans including last week’s champion Brian Sombero and his father Wally “The Dream” Sombero. Wally, a 25-yr veteran of poker games all over the world, busted out Brian and proceeded to take down the tournament and became the next champion!
