Poker For a Cause: A Benefit Tournament for Metro Card Club Staff and Friends Affected by the Typhoon Ondoy.

As we all know by now, Typhoon Ondoy struck the country’s capital and caused terrible devastation and damage, leaving hundreds dead and thousands more homeless in its wake.
Many of The Metro Card Club staff members, people who are always there to provide us with the best poker experience, have been severely affected by the storm as well. To concentrate out relief efforts on those closest to home, we have decided to ask for the support of the poker community in helping out our friends in need.
The Metro Card Club will be having a Charity poker tournament this Saturday, Oct.3, (replacing the regular Saturday 350K) with a P1,000 buyin (1 rebuy/1addon) wherein the management will simply MATCH every peso put into the prize pool (leaving the main pot for the players) and give the final amount to the affected staff members and families. We are encouraging all regulars to come and support us and make a big pot so we can give more to our friends in need.
