POWER Foundation Charity Tournament: A Huge Success!

The recently concluded POWER Foundation charity poker tournament was a huge success, thanks to the big hearts of the the 50 or so players who came out and played Poker for a cause. The multiple rebuys and addons (plus the side bets players made where the winner also gave the money to the charity) created a pot that reached P183,369.25, all of which went directly to the POWER Foundation, just as The Metro Card Club Promised.
After several hours of crazy poker action, the top ten winners were determined. Here they are from 10th to 1st place:

7th/ Gameboy Advance : Sunshine Samson
6th/ COBY portable DVD player : Arlon Carrera
5th/ Ipod Nano : Felipe Abadilla
4th/ Nokia M5300 : Anghelito Te
3rd/ Fujifilm Digicam : Arnold Tom
2nd/ SONY PSP slim : Vanessa Singson
1st place/ NEO Laptop Computer : Kent Del Rosario
Ultimately, every player who joined the tournament ended up as a winner. The money raised for the POWER Foundation will go a long way to help abused and struggling women and children find their place in society and get back on their feet. Congratulations to everyone!
