Record Field of 804 players fills the Metro Anniversary Primer Tournament.

After seeing the first three days of intense poker action in a record 804 player field, the Metro Anniversary Primer poker tournament moves on to day 2 today. A total of 105 players were able to survive the grueling Day 1’s, and are now competing for the P2,000,000 prize pool, with a 1st place prize of P450,000.
Everyone who joined this tournament is now a part of another milestone in Philippine poker. No other field in Asia has ever come close, as the previous record of 667 players was also set by The Metro Card Club with the last Metro Hi-5 tournament.
Players today will play down to the final table, which will conclude tomorrow, Oct.19. Watch the action today and tomorrow at The Metro Card Club starting at 1pm each day.
