Rizzie Galan wins METRO Ladies Night!

The Metro’s Pre-Valentine treat for the ladies of poker had 33 ladies vying for the title of the first Metro Ladies Poker Tournament Champion and a crack at the P50,000 guaranteed prize pool. Sure enough, we had 4 tables full of the best of the best among the women poker players in the country, including the likes of Poker Pro and METRO75 champ Barb Galan and and FPT Metro Main Event Finalist Lee Maranan.
Without the testosterone inspired plays of most guys, the poker action was much more focused and deliberate. Less aggression, more intensity was the theme of the plays. These ladies were here to win!
Final Table came and the players did not disappoint. Pro Player Barb Galan, Metro Main Event satellite winner Rizzie Galan, Previous ladies tournament Finalist Lex Montemayor, and several other hopefuls were getting close to the money. The action in the final table took almost as long to end as the whole tournament before it, lasting for more than 3 hours at least.
In the end, Rizzie Galan added another accomplishment to her growing list as she took down the 1st prize and earned the title of the first Metro Ladies Tournament Champion!
