The Metro Card Club THREE! Anniversary Tournament finally ended

After one week of action filled poker, The Metro Card Club THREE! Anniversary Tournament finally ended with one man left standing. The event guaranteed Php3,000,000 inclusive of 3 packages to the upcoming international tournament, the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT)., happening on November 12 to 16, 2010 at the Shangri-la Hotel & Resort Cebu.
A total field of 633 players came to attend the 3rd year anniversary event at the Metro Card Club. Oliver Roxas, the new Metro Card Club champion, outlasted this huge field to take home a cash prize of Php750,000 plus a package to APPT Cebu worth Php150,000.
Runner-up Justin Geronimo didn’t go home empty handed as well as he won for himself Php400,000 in cash and an APPT Package that will give him a chance to play in an international tournament – something that he has been striving for.
Vincent “Bobby” Valero from Cebu placed 3rd and was happy to have a chance to play at the APPT in his home turf.
