The METRO Main Event Tournament Structure

The Biggest Local Poker Tournament is drawing near! The METRO MAIN EVENT will be having it’s first deal at 2pm SHARP on Saturday, Jan.26, 2007, and the who’s who of Philippine poker will be there to represent themselves in this prestigious tournament.
The tournament will be structured similar the World Series Main Event except for the shorter blind levels of 45 minutes. The Payout structure will also guarantee that P1 MILLION will be reserved for first place, with the remaining 2 million being divided into a minimum of 9 places depending on the number of participants. In case the participants will not reach 100 players, The METRO will STILL give out the entire 3 million prize pool. If we do exceed 100 players, the excess money will go into the prize pool of course.

I heard this will be telecasted live. Where?
i dont know about it being telecast live, but i do know that it will be part of a poker show that will be shown locally for the Filipino Poker Tour. Pokerstars will be handling the production so it will surely be a good one!
